Building Community
Neighbourhood Connection
My connection to the community began at home, on my street in Killara and with my excellent neighbours. I enjoy walks in the bush and through the streets admiring homes and gardens that residents put so much care into.
Volunteering
I contribute actively through volunteer roles, from school P&F president to the advisory board at Western Sydney University. I am involved in First Nations and multicultural initiatives.
Passion for Music
I play the veena and value art that strengthens connections. I perform widely and have activated local spaces including the St Ives Showground and Mahratta in Wahroonga.
Family
My husband and I have raised our two sons locally, heavily involved in school and sporting activities. We enjoy a large, extended family in Sydney including my parents who live nearby.
Supporting Local Businesses
Local villages and shops matter – great bread, quirky barber, op shops, a lively local bar. I set up my husband’s practice and have deep respect for the contribution of small and medium businesses.
Professional Life
My work revolves around building vibrant and diverse communities anchored in a strong economy, culture, and sustainability.
